The Xperia 1 ii serves up improved photo and video performance in tricky light, so night and HDR shots are now a lot better. This phone also gives you full manual controls in Camera Pro, which follows the Sony Alpha UI (and soon will support RAW images).
I was impressed by the video results when testing too. As with shooting photos, Sony’s excellent auto-focus and auto-exposure means your subject stays sharp, with accurate colour reproduction. You also have Cinema Pro for shooting proper cinematic fare, which is simple enough for anyone to use.
